Safety Through Planning and Accountability
Safety at Van Ert starts at the jobsite. Teams develop daily pre task plans to identify potential hazards, coordinate work activities, and clearly define expectations before work begins. This proactive approach allows teams to address issues early and maintain control of changing jobsite conditions.
Our employees are empowered with stop work authority and are encouraged to speak up if unsafe conditions are identified. Managers, project managers, and field supervisors are actively engaged in reinforcing safety expectations and supporting safe decisions in the field.
Training & Continuous Improvement
Van Ert invests in ongoing training to ensure employees are prepared to work safely in a wide range of environments. Training programs are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect current industry standards, jobsite conditions, and best practices.
